Our theme for 2022 is “Celebrating the Harvest” based on the scripture of the Apostle Paul who exhorts: “Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap the harvest if we do not give up” Galatians 6:9. We chose this theme because the pro-life movement is made up of committed people who will never give up on restoring the right to life to our unborn brothers and sisters and protecting the medically fragile members of our human family.
Because you never give up here in South Carolina, we Celebrate the Harvest. We have:
- Passed in the first 60 days of 2021 the Fetal Heartbeat Act that protects the unborn child from abortion when the baby’s heartbeat can be detected. The law is under court challenge as of this writing.
- Outlawed abortion on demand at 20 weeks gestation when the baby can feel pain.
- Reduced by more than 60% the number of abortions occurring in South Carolina.
- Saved more than 200,000 unborn babies in South Carolina from death by abortion.
- Stopped Doctor Prescribed Suicide and have protected the medically fragile for more than 20 years.
- Forced abortionists to clean up their filthy facilities and stop grinding up aborted children in a common sink disposal. (You really need to see the video at www.sclife.org/about.)
- Worked tirelessly since 1974 to protect the right to life through the peaceful and legal means of education, legislation, and social action.
- Educated hundreds of thousands of people at the State Fair every year since 1974 with beautiful fetal models and pro-life literature.
- Marched for the Right to Life every year in Columbia, S.C. since 1974.
My friends, this is the short list of the harvest we celebrate in nearly 50 years of never, ever giving up.

Despite the horrific agenda of the Biden Administration to codify abortion into federal law and force taxpayers to fund the evil killing of unborn children, we have great hope that we now have the
pathway in the United States Supreme Court to end the wanton slaughter of our pre-born brothers and sisters.
You see, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear the Mississippi law banning abortion by the 15th week of life in the womb. That is why we are thrilled to have the Attorney General of Mississippi, Lynn Fitch, address us at the Proudly Pro-Life Weekend. General Fitch’s good friend and colleague, South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson who is defending the Fetal Heartbeat Act on its way through the courts, will once again emcee the weekend.
Our guest musicians, The 3 Heath Brothers, were voted Best Breaking Artists of 2018. They have a powerful story to tell about rejecting abortion which would have ended
the life of one of the brothers. You will not want to miss their amazing performance.
Since January of 1973 when the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion on demand for all nine months of pregnancy and for any reason, we, the pro-life people of the United States, have been freely
assembling to exercise our constitutional rights to seek redress for the wrong our government allows. The year 2022 is no different. We will reap a harvest because we never give up.
The “Proudly Pro-Life Weekend 2022” will include the Proudly Pro-Life Dinner on Friday night January 7, 2022, at Seawell’s events facility. The Stand Up for Life March and
Rally on Saturday, January 8, 2022, will be as it has been since 1974. The March will begin at the University of South Carolina Russell House on Greene Street and process to the State House, north plaza, on Gervais Street.
