COLUMBIA, S.C. (Wednesday, February 1, 2023) The South Carolina House Judiciary Committee will debate the Human Life Protection Act (H3774) on Tuesday, February 7 after the Constitutional Laws Subcommittee gave the pro-life legislation a favorable report on January 26.
South Carolina Citizens for Life and the state’s coalition of pro-life, pro-family organizations strongly support the Human Life Protection Act (H3774) that restores legal protection to the unborn at all stages of development and strongly protects the life of the mother.
The bill recognizes that
human life begins at conception and that human life is deserving of protection at all stages of development.
