COLUMBIA, S.C. – One Message, a coalition of pro-life and pro-family organizations in South Carolina, will hold a press conference
Tuesday, March 14, 2023, to promote the voices of pro-life women who support the Human Life Protection Act, (H3774). The press conference will be from noon to 1 p.m. in the lobby at the S.C. Statehouse (2nd floor).
The Human Life Protection Act passed the S.C. House on February 15, 2023, by an overwhelming majority vote of 83-31 and is pending
action in the Senate Medical Affairs Committee. The bill protects the life of unborn children at all stages of development and equally protects the life and serious bodily health of the mother.
The press conference is called A Celebration of Life and will feature six young women who strongly support the Human Life Protection Act
(H3774).
One Message partners include South Carolina Citizens for Life, the South Carolina Baptist Convention, the Catholic Diocese of Charleston, Palmetto Family, the South Carolina Association of Pregnancy Care Centers, Alliance Defending Freedom, the S.C. Christian Chamber of Commerce.
