Welcome to our first installment of "Meet the Praying Sisters".  In today's email, you will learn about Amy (Aubert) Fling and Cindy (Aubert) Moorer, twin sisters who said, "Yes."  

They’ve been called “The Praying Sisters.” But their story goes far beyond a nickname.

Amy Fling and Cindy Moorer—SC Citizens for Life 2025 Volunteers of the Year—are two faithful, passionate women on a mission to change hearts and minds across South Carolina. You’ve seen them smiling at the booth, hands ready to share literature, answering hard questions with truth and love.

But why do they keep coming back?

This week, step into their shoes. Discover the powerful “why” behind their work, and how a childhood shaped by faith and a passion for life turned into a lifelong commitment to the pro-life mission.

Amy Fling and Cindy Moorer never set out to become well-known. But through years of faithful service and powerful prayer, they’ve become known across South Carolina as “The Praying Sisters.”

What shaped them?

A childhood rooted in faith. A shared love for truth. And a deep conviction that every human life—no matter how small, disabled, or vulnerable—is worthy of protection.

Amy lives with cerebral palsy, and her pro-life passion comes from a place of personal understanding: “If society can end the lives of the unborn because they’re seen as inconvenient, then what happens to people like me?”

Cindy adds, “We’ve been pro-life since we first understood what it meant. Once we realized we could help at the SCCL booth, we jumped in—and never looked back.”
