In last week's installment, you were introduced to twin sisters Amy Fling and Cindy Moorer our 2025 Volunteers for Life.  This week, we bring you the next part of their story. 

When Amy volunteered at our booth for the first time, she was unsure what to say. Cindy wasn’t far behind, juggling young motherhood and a desire to get involved.

Neither imagined how much they would learn—or how much they would change.

This week, you'll hear how simple conversations and humble service at the SC Citizens for Life booth turned two quiet supporters into bold, informed advocates—and how they’re educating others with grace, truth, and patience.

You’ll also learn how fetal models, powerful visuals, and prayer are making an impact—especially on the next generation.

Amy remembers being nervous her first time at the booth. Cindy wasn’t sure what to expect either. But something changed as they stepped into action.

Amy grew bolder with every conversation.

Cindy became more confident with each shift.

Together, they learned how to answer difficult questions—not with anger, but with truth and love.

“We want people to stop dehumanizing the unborn,” Amy says. “They have DNA from the start. They feel. They matter.”

For Cindy, education was the turning point: “The more we learned, the more we could share. And that’s how hearts and minds change.”

They started simply—as volunteers. But their hearts were set ablaze.
