In 2020, Amy had a vision of herself praying at the State House. She didn’t tell anyone. A few months later, Cindy turned to her and said, “I think we need to go to the State House and pray every month.”
That was the beginning.
Since then, they’ve prayed at every precinct in Richland County. They pray monthly at the Capitol for state and national
leaders. They pray before every volunteer shift. Their mission? Simple but profound:
“Lord, use our words and our lives to change hearts and minds.”
Their humility is striking. They didn’t name themselves “The Praying Sisters.” A fellow prayer warrior did. And it stuck.
They now educate about pregnancy centers, attend their local SCCL chapter, Richland County Citizens for Life (Cindy is the
Secretary), travel the country to attend the annual National Right to Life Conference where they continue to educate themselves on what's happening in the pro-life movement and bring it home to share with all they meet, support legislation like the Fetal Heartbeat Bill, and boldly share the truth on social media.
They volunteer. They give. They pray.
And through it all, they remind others: this is not just political. It’s spiritual.
Next week: Your invitation to make an impact—just like they did.
