Sydney is pursuing her Professional Master of Business Administration (PMBA) with the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, where she currently is employed as a community engagement and social media manager. She brings an exceptionally strong
background in social media and copywriting to the SCCL internship.
Sydney has a powerful reason she is pro-life. “I’ve seen what abortion does to people that I care about,” she says, “and I want to work to make sure that nobody else has to go through that.”
This is not Sydney’s first internship. In 2016 she was an Endowment Intern for South Carolina Educational Television (SCETV) during which she created videos for various productions and online channels and wrote and curated content for multimedia projects and digital platforms.
Sydney expressed enthusiasm for the SCCL internship. “I’m excited to get to work with other interns who hold the same pro-life views, and I’m really exited about the conference in Washington, D.C.,” she says. Interns attend the National Right to Life Conference where they meet national and international leaders of the pro-life movement and attend high-level workshops on many
pro-life topics and strategies for creating a culture of life.
