Democratic Presidential Hopefuls Prepare for Abortion Forum: Candidates Expected to Bow Down at the Altar of Big Abortion
WASHINGTON – Democratic presidential hopefuls will descend on South Carolina later this week for the state’s Democratic convention. While there, most of the candidates are expected to attend a candidate forum hosted by Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.
“Gone are the days of Democrats attempting to hide their extreme views on abortion,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “The Democrats’ extreme agenda has been laid bare for all to see: they
want unrestricted abortion at any time during pregnancy, and they want taxpayers to foot the bill.”
The top 24 Democratic presidential candidates support abortion on demand and all have stated their opposition to the Hyde Amendment which prevents taxpayer funds from being used to pay for abortion except in cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother.
Currently, a majority of the Democratic candidates have confirmed their appearance at the event and more are expected. Planned Parenthood’s forum is designed not only to showcase the presidential candidates’ radical support of abortion on demand but also to help the candidates cater to the most
fanatical pro-abortion elements of the party.
“Planned Parenthood received over $560 million in government reimbursements and grants in 2018,” continued Tobias. “This candidate forum isn’t about protecting women; it’s about ensuring Planned Parenthood’s bloated
bottom line would be protected under a Democratic president.”
Contrary to the Democratic Party’s push for abortion on demand paid for by taxpayers, the vast majority of Americans oppose taxpayer-funded abortions and abortion on demand.
