Critical Update    on the Heartbeat Bill    Call Your Senator Again!   We have information that a decision will be made Tuesday, March 10, 2020, on whether to support setting special order for the Heartbeat Bill through the Senate Rules Committee. If the Heartbeat Bill (H3020) is set for special order, then we will need the votes to end a filibuster. The technical name for ending a filibuster is "cloture." Even if you have called before, we need you to call your Senator again. If you do not know who represents you in the South Carolina Senate, click here and follow the prompts. Then call your Senator's office with this message: “I am (give your name), a constituent of Senator _____________.I am calling to urge Senator _______________ to support Special Order for the Heartbeat Bill, H3020, through the Senate Rules Committee and to vote for cloture if there is a filibuster.   These calls need to be made by 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 10.
