Heartbeat Update: Good Job, Pro-Lifers!      Here is a brief update on the status of the Heartbeat Bill (H.3020) in the South Carolina Senate. We are encouraged by the discussions underway in the Senate Republican Caucus to move the Heartbeat Bill forward for a vote.   Your calls have had a positive effect. Unborn babies' lives will be saved.   Representative John McCravy, R-Greenwood, chief sponsor of H.3020, made an impassioned plea Tuesday, March 10, 2020, on the floor of the House of Representatives urging the Senate to pass the Heartbeat Bill. Last year the Heartbeat bill passed the S.C. House by an overwhelming bi-partisan majority. Representative McCravy received a standing ovation from fellow House members.
