President Trump Has Kept His Promise to Work Toward Protecting America’s Most Vulnerable
WASHINGTON — As day one opens on the Republican National Convention, the re-nomination of President Trump and Vice President Pence puts in motion a second term with a President and Vice President who value human life.
“President Trump and Vice President Pence have repeatedly shown that this Administration is about protecting innocent human lives,” said Carol Tobias, president of the National Right to Life Committee. “Both President Trump and Vice President Pence have stood firm in their work to protect those threatened by abortion and infanticide.”
In contrast, Democratic nominees for President and Vice President, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, support the Democratic platform of unlimited abortion even through birth. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have both been endorsed by extreme pro-abortion groups including NARAL Pro-Choice America, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and the National Organization for Women PAC.
President Trump pledged to “veto any legislation that weakens current pro-life federal policies and laws or that encourages the destruction of innocent human life at any stage.”
In January 2020, before tens of thousands of pro-life individuals and families, the President eloquently spoke about the beauty of life and pledged to continue working to protect all innocent human life,
"We cannot know what our citizens yet unborn will achieve, the dreams they will imagine, the masterpieces they will create, the discoveries they will make. But we know this: Every life brings love into this world. Every child brings joy to a family. Every person is worth protecting. And above all, we know that every human soul is divine, and every human life – born and unborn – is made
in the holy image of Almighty God.
"Together, we will defend this truth all across our magnificent land. We will set free the dreams of our people. And with determined hope, we look forward to all of the blessings that will come from the beauty, talent, purpose, nobility, and grace of every American child."
“The pro-life movement is grateful to President Trump and Vice President Pence for all they have done to protect life,” said Tobias. “We look forward to working with the Administration for another four years as we continue moving toward the day when all innocent human life is welcomed and protected by law.”
