COLUMBIA, SC (Wednesday, January 20, 2021) The full 17-member Senate Medical Affairs Committee will take up the Fetal Heartbeat Bill on Thursday, January 21,
2021, 30 minutes after the Senate recesses for the day. It is impossible to say what time that will be but the meeting can be watched online HERE and it is open to the public in the Gressette Office Building, Room 308.
In a letter dated January 19, 2021 to Senator Danny Verdin, Chairman, Senate Medical Affairs Committee, South Carolina Citizens for Life urged the Senate
Medical Affairs Committee to pass S.1, The Fetal Heartbeat and Protection from Abortion Act. The letter can be viewed HERE.
