WASHINGTON —This week, House Pro-Life Caucus co-chairs Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) and Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (R-Md.) announced the appointment of Rep. Michelle Fischbach (R-Minn.) to the House Pro-Life Caucus as co-chair.
“We are extremely pleased to see Representative Fischbach appointed to the House Pro-Life Caucus as co-chair. She has long been a champion for the right to life in the Minnesota State Senate and has carried that fight to the U.S. House,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life.“Rep.

Tobias added, “Michelle Fischbach has been tireless in her commitment to the right to life and in her defense of unborn children and their mothers.”
As a member of the 117th Congress, Rep. Fischbach is already recognized as a leading voice on behalf of unborn children. She has served as the author of the Protecting Life and Taxpayers Act of 2021 and she has supported dozens of pro-life letters, petitions, and bills.
Michelle Fischbach is a proven and accomplished pro-life leader with a 100% lifetime pro-life voting record in the Minnesota State Senate. During her time in the Minnesota State legislature, she cast 149 out of 149 possible pro-life votes. For more than two decades, she has worked to advance pro-life legislation, authoring or co-sponsoring every major pro-life bill in Minnesota. As president of the Minnesota State Senate, she also
took a leadership role in promoting pro-life legislation.
